Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements for a theatrical master (DCP)?

To create a DCP (Digital Cinema Package), we require high-resolution source material—typically ProRes 4444 or 10-bit DPX/TIFF sequences.
Audio must be delivered in 5.1 or 7.1 surround (as separate WAV stems), or in Immersive Audio format such as Dolby Atmos (MXF).

For 3D SMPTE DCPs, we support dynamic subtitles (i.e., spatially positioned text within the 3D environment).

We also provide KDMs (Key Delivery Messages) for the finalized DCP, which can be generated with time restrictions and server-specific encryption through a secure web interface.

DCPs are delivered via FDM (Film Delivery Message) using an encrypted channel. FDM keys, like KDMs, are generated online via a secure platform.

Do you provide a full-service localization package?

Yes, our localization services cover the full spectrum. We offer subtitling, adaptation of subtitle graphics, voice-over, and full dubbing — including 99.99% accent-free AI dubbing — as well as full Dolby Atmos–compatible SMPTE 2098 Immersive Audio (Aion Sound*) theatrical mixing, provided Dolby Atmos M&E and HUN DX tracks are available. We also replace graphical elements such as language-specific signs and on-screen text when needed.

All localized versions are delivered according to platform-specific technical requirements — including DCP, broadcast, Netflix TTML, Amazon STL, iTunes ITT, RTL+, One, Telekom, and many others. Final delivery is supported with full QC and metadata integration.

*Fully compatible with all Dolby Atmos–equipped cinema rooms.

What’s the difference between broadcast, streaming, and Blu-ray masters?

The primary differences between TV (broadcast) and streaming content lie in the technical specifications. These include variations in frame rates, color spaces (BT.709 vs. BT.2020), audio standards (EBU R128 vs. ITU BS.1770), and file structures (MXF vs. IMF or ProRes MOV).

We validate all platform-specific masters using both internal and external QC protocols — whether for Netflix, HBO, Apple TV, or Amazon Prime Video — and we tailor content preparation based on the intended distribution platform and regional compliance requirements.

Blu-ray masters can be delivered with animated menus, multiple audio and subtitle tracks, ensuring a professional-grade final product. 4K and 3D Blu-ray mastering is also available upon request.

What technologies are used during digital post-production?

Our post-production services cover the entire workflow, including online editing, VFX/SFX, American-style grading (HDR/SDR) with film print emulation, sound design and mastering, and 2D-to-3D conversion (Aion Vision). We work in a professional software environment using tools like DaVinci Resolve, Adobe, Pro Tools, Fairlight, FX, Vegas, Unreal, CryEngine, Intel, Reallusion, Blender, Fusion, and more — all enhanced with AI-based support.

During final mastering, all materials are validated through QC systems to meet the technical requirements of the target platform (cinema, TV, or streaming). We also offer certified studio capacity for Dolby Atmos–compatible Aion Sound and HDR mastering, along with RealD 3D projection capabilities.*

*Equipped with silver screen and RealD passive glasses — just like commercial cinemas.

How is a film digitally restored and enhanced?

For restoration projects based on traditional film stock, we begin with high-resolution scanning (2K/4K/6K)*, followed by AI-driven frame-by-frame cleaning and stabilization. Using advanced, machine learning–supported algorithms, we perform noise reduction, scratch and dust removal, and flicker elimination.

We also offer colorization of black-and-white footage and can regenerate damaged frames using AI-based image reconstruction.

Color grading is done in an HDR environment on calibrated reference monitors, and we can deliver in various output formats. Our goal is to preserve the original character of the material while making it fully enjoyable on modern displays.

In addition to converting SD content to HD, we can upscale HD to 4K with optional HDR, delivered in ProRes 4444 for maximum quality.

*Scanning is performed in partnership with a trusted subcontractor.

What kind of support and services do you offer for film projects?

Our comprehensive film production services span from concept development and scriptwriting all the way to directing. During production, we assist in workflow planning, format strategy, budget optimization, technical prep, and provide consulting for both VFX and SFX — including process oversight and full supervision throughout post-production.

We offer access to virtual studio environments (such as green screen or LED wall setups), and also provide on-set operational support during filming. In the post-production phase, we ensure seamless integration with editorial and archival systems to maintain continuity and efficiency throughout the entire pipeline.
